This romantic program explores classic stories of love and sacrifice reprised throughout the ages in European literature, theatre and music—not one, but two sonic versions of Romeo and Juliet. Also on the programme is the final fiery aria of Wagner’s The Ring with the warm and convincing tones of Montréal soprano, Caroline Bleau.
