Guest conductor: Jean-François Rivest
Guest Soloist: Nikki Chooi, violin

Nikki Chooi has been described as “vigorous, colorful” by the New York Times. He has established himself as an artist of rare versatility. At our November concert, he takes on one of the most technically challenging works of the solo violin repertoire. The force of Ottawa Symphony will be on display in Strauss’ tone poem depicting the death of an artist. Experience the full, rich harmonic textures of life, as told through the orchestra.
