Our Team

The Ottawa Symphony team works together with OSO musicians, the concertmaster and the artistic planning group to produce memorable musical experiences that everyone in Ottawa can enjoy!

The members of the Ottawa Symphony Board of Directors have diverse skill sets including executive leadership, marketing and communications, financial auditing, law, politics, and fundraising.

Erica Miller is the leader of the first violin section and sits directly to the left of the conductor. She has many responsibilities, including determining bowings for the other violins, and is the second-highest leader of the orchestra after the conductor. Erica is also leads the Artistic Planning Group.

The Ottawa Symphony’s Artistic Planning Group reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for all concert programming, engagement of guest artists and conductors, and the long-term artistic vision of the Orchestra.
