The season concludes in grand fashion with two performances of Joseph Haydn’s The Creation, presented in collaboration with the Ottawa Choral Society, celebrating its 85th anniversary.
Widely regarded as a masterpiece of the Classical period, Haydn’s oratorio draws on a German translation of Milton’s Paradise Lost. Its 1799 premiere in Vienna was a sensation, and the work continues to inspire audiences with its sweeping vision and luminous music.
