Everything you need to plan your visit to an Ottawa Symphony Orchestra concert.
Mainstage Venue
Ottawa Symphony Orchestra mainstage concerts take place at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre (CDCC) in downtown Ottawa.
Some performances, including chamber concerts and special events, may take place at other venues. Your concert page and ticket will indicate the location for your performance.

Please use the Lisgar Street entrance when attending a concert at CDCC.
Getting Here
Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre is located in downtown Ottawa and can be reached by public transit, car, bicycle and on foot.
Public Transit
Several OC Transpo routes serve the surrounding area. Use the OC Transpo Travel Planner for the most up-to-date route information on the day of your concert.
Parking
Paid parking is available beside CDCC, with access from Lisgar Street. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional paid parking is available in the surrounding neighbourhood.
Drivers may drop off passengers at the main entrance at 290 Lisgar Street before parking.
Accessibility
Patrons with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users, should select seats on the Orchestra Level when attending performances at Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre.
Designated wheelchair spaces are available on the Orchestra Level and can be selected when purchasing tickets online.
The Balcony Level is accessible by stairs only from the Sanctuary and is not accessible by elevator.
The main entrance at 290 Lisgar Street has an accessible ramp, and accessible washrooms are available within the building.
Companions & Caregivers
If you require the assistance of a companion or caregiver to attend a performance, please contact the Box Office for assistance with your ticket purchase.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at CDCC. If you have specific accessibility or seating requirements, please contact us before your concert so we can help you plan your visit.
At the Concert
When to Arrive
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the performance to allow time to enter the venue and find your seat.
Doors and Box Office hours may vary by performance. Check your individual concert page for details.
Late Arrivals
Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance. Depending on the performance and venue, you may be seated in the closest available seat rather than your originally selected seat.
What Should I Wear?
There is no dress code. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Food & Drink
Food and beverage service varies by concert and venue.
Concessions may be available at select Ottawa Symphony Orchestra performances at Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre.
Food and beverages are not permitted inside the Sanctuary. Any food or beverages purchased at concessions must be consumed outside the Sanctuary before returning to your seat. Water is permitted inside the Sanctuary.
